Maintenance & Repair

Electrical Safety Testing

All electrical installations deteriorate with age and use and should be inspected and tested regularly to check whether they are in a satisfactory condition.

Industrial and commercial premises are required to have periodic inspections every five years, but to comply with some insurance polices, this may be every three years or even annually. All private landlords in England are required to have a periodic inspection of their rental properties every five years and at every change of tenancy.

We will carry out these checks to ensure the safety of your property and issue an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) detailing any observed damage, deterioration, defects, dangerous conditions and any non-compliances with the present-day safety standard that might give rise to danger.

PAT Testing

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) is the examination of electrical appliances and equipment to ensure they are safe to use. Most electrical safety defects can be found by visual examination but some types of defect can only be found by testing.

We test all types of appliance and carry out minor repairs free of charge. NAPIT approved.

Emergency Lighting Installation & Testing

Emergency lighting is an essential part of the health and safety provision of any building. It provides immediate secondary lighting when the power supply to the normal lighting fails and ensures that occupants can leave the building safely.
